​​Price List For Hair & Makeup Preview Experience Prior To Your Wedding Day

We suggest you attend your preview at least session 4 months prior to your wedding day, if you are wanting more than 1 session, you are welcome to come earlier for your first session.

What is a preview session for and what to think about when booking one:

A preview session in hair and makeup for the bride is a must when booking us, trust us, from years of experience having time to fine tune things and then being organised on the day is crucial, everyones hair and face is unique to them, this is why a look is best tested prior.

You need to ideally have a clear understanding of the hair and makeup look that you would like to be achieved, we recommend you trying one look and allowing us the time to perfect that look, this works better than having 2 looks and us not being able to perfect one, different styles need different prep.

Hair wise, you understanding and knowing what makes you feel confident really helps, you need to consider what will work with your dress, time of year you are getting married in, do you touch your hair a lot, if you are a hot person, how you like your parting, if you like face framing, are sleek looks or more boho your thing, if you are wearing a veil and if so what style as some veils can annihilate hair styles!

What hair type you have naturally makes a world of difference to the final look that can be archived and how it holds, even with all the products in the world, hair prep and clip in hair extensions, if you have naturally baby soft hair, a hollywood wave is not going to be the style for you.

With makeup, you need to think if you want an elevated look to what you normally wear when applying your own makeup, if so, please take lots of photos in natural daylight to show us, filtered photo wont give us a clear understanding.

If choosing a look, please have an idea of what coverage you would like, colours, matte, shimmer or gloss, unless you are happy for us to pick a look to suit you, please have a really good think about what you do and dont like so that we can better understand what you would like to be achieved.​​

Hair & Makeup preparation:

Understanding the importance of skin preparation on the build up to your wedding day is key, most brides start a skin journey a year before their wedding day if they do not already have a routine and already attend facials.

Treating skin concerns with skin care prior to a makeup application is strongly advised, smooth, exfoliated and hydrated skin will only make your makeup application and the longevity of your makeup application that much better.

Like skin, the better condition your hair is in, the better the end result will be, keeping your hair healthy with vitamins, products, limiting heat and having dead ends trimmed will help, we only want to do the very best job for you on your wedding day.

Bridal hair and makeup weekday Monday - Thursday preview experiences with Vicky & Anna

Time: 3 hours, please always allow more time in case needed, luxury packages with Vicky only have 4 hours included

• Optional 15 minute phone consultation prior to your session, advised if you feel you need some guidance with styles or if you would like our advice/help with hair extensions

• We will send you a list of hints and tips prior to your session on how to get the most out of your session

• Detailed consultation

• Skin prep, makeup primer to suit your skin's needs, makeup application, setting spray and cluster lashes 

• Hair styling of either a blow dry, hair updo, down style or half up/half down style

• Skin and hair care advice when needed, product information will be messaged to you

• We offer guidance with clip in hair extensions if needed, we mainly use Beauty Works Hair Extensions

• We have hair accessories to try from pearls to dried flowers and veils to help you choose your look, you need to then go and purchase these online or from a shop to have something to use on the wedding day 

• Run through of wedding day timeline, looks for your bridal party and final arrangements

• A wedding day information form to pass to your bridal party, this includes helpful advice on how to get the very best from their hair and makeup on your wedding day and tips to make the morning run smoothly

• We will take photos of your hair and makeup look and whatsapp you all the photos taken

• Once you leave, we will write up a detailed face chart with every product used and its placement for makeup and also a detailed description of how to recreate your hair style

• One person is welcome to come and watch

• Like a salon, this is not a child friendly or safe environment 

• We have a cancellation policy as a full morning or afternoon is reserved for each one of our brides

• Its very unlikely that you will need more than 3 hours for your session, in the unlikely event this is needed, provided we have availability, we charge an additional £20 for every 30 minutes required, some brides use their first session to get a better understanding of what they would like and then fine tune their look at a second session, a second trial is charged at the same price as a full session

Individual members of your bridal party weekday Monday - Thursday preview experiences with our team

We recommend that your bridal preview experience be all about you as the bride and that members of your bridal party come for separate appointments, if you would particularly like someone else to have an appointment with you, please give us as much notice as possible  ​

Hair 1 hour and 15 minutes preview session (1 style) £55    

Makeup and lashes 1 hour and 15 minutes preview session £60​

• Detailed consultation

• Skin prep, makeup primer to suit your skins needs, makeup application, setting spray and cluster lashes 

• Hair styling of either a blow dry, hair updo, down style or half up/half down style

• Skin and hair care advice when needed, product information will be messaged to you

• We mainly use Beauty Works Hair Extensions if we have the correct colour match and set you need in stock, you can buy clip in hair extensions if needed from us, alternatively you can purchase extensions to bring to your preview or source them yourself after your session. Hair extension services other than at your appointment are not included.

• We have hair accessories to try from pearls to dried flowers and a fascinator to help you choose your look, you need to then go and purchase these online or from a shop to have something to use on the wedding day
